The Eastern Suburbs Tennis Association aims to grow the pathway of local juniors into playing more tennis and providing them with environments to not only improve their play but aspire them to take their tennis further. We support grass roots tennis, and organize interclub competition, and encourage players to participate in Tennis NSW events. The weekend ESTA Junior Competition showcases players from participating clubs to compete against other junior players to gain tournament experience by playing at home and away centres, on different courts surfaces, as well competing in both doubles and singles sets.
The ESTA have partnered with Tennis NSW to be the official sanctioned provider of the Sydney Junior Team Tennis (SJTT) in the Eastern Suburbs. SJTT is for juniors who want to have fun, gain competition experience and take their game to the next level. Only by participating in our intra club SJTT competition will selected juniors be able to compete in the term 3 Inter District Competition- matching Eastern Suburb Juniors against other Sydney Metro teams on Sunday afternoons. Our goal is to increase tennis participation and align with the national organization standard of play at regional and local levels.
